Valverde Country Hotel is situated in the Muldersdrift area (Lammermoor) and is extremely well located for both the business person and tourist who wants the tranquility of the country with easy access to Fourways, Sandton, Randburg and Pretoria. Valverde is situated only 10 minutes from Lanseria International Airport from where daily flights operate to Cape Town and various other attractions in South Africa. Valverde lies on the brink of the Cradle of Humankind – a listed World Heritage Site where our ancestors once roamed free. Centrally located in a tranquil country environment, Valverde offers a variety of facilities and configurations, catering for groups from 2 to 200 people, from formal boardroom meetings to breakaway groups in the gardens.

Weddings

We do not charge venue hire!

Valverde has 2 venues with separate entrance gates and parking areas for the privacy of your function. Should you wish to have exclusivity over the whole resort, we can accommodate you at an additional charge of R6.000.

The King’s Hall seats up to 120 guests, with a spacious raised dance floor, fire place and a separate buffet area. The Jasmine Chapel overlooks the Elandsdrift Valley and the Renaissance garden. It is furnished with wrought iron features, wooden pews, a red carpet and an arch at the entrance.

The Olive Lapa seats up to 200 guests and is decorated with fairy lights and lanterns. Both the Olive Lapa and the Vista Chapel overlook the Elandsdrift Valley. The Vista Chapel is furnished with banquet chairs, wooden cross and red carpet.
