Gods Window

God’s Window is self explanatory really indicating paradise on Earth. At God's Window on the Escarpment, wondrous cliffs fall to the Lowveld and the game reserves (over 700 metres). It is now a popular place to view wildlife because of this.

God's Window offers magnificent views across the Blyde River Canyon and the Lowveld. The view from the mountains fissure is of a beautiful forest and undergrowth that in fact gave it its name. It reminds some visitors of what they imagine the Garden of Eden to have looked like.

Commanding views of the Blyde River Canyon – the 3rd largest in the world – and “Three Rondavels”, this Mpumalanga resort is situated on the escarpment, between Graskop and Ohrigstad, two and a half hours from Gauteng.

It is the ideal base for hiking trails on foot or horse and scenic trips by car to well known Mpumalanga beacons, such as Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Pinnacle, the Mac-Mac Waterfalls and God’s Window or enjoy the facilities at the resort itself.
