Warmbaths is perfect for a restful yet adventure filled family holiday!!
It is situated not far from the capital Pretoria and about 80 miles north of Johannesburg. It lies on a flat area known as the Springbok Flats. Its name comes from the natural hot mineral springs that have surfaced there.
The springs are full of very healthy and spa minerals such as sodium chloride, calcium carbonate and others that is yielded out of 200,000 litres of water an hour. Due to this Warmbaths has become a very popular holiday and spa resort (great, I hear all you mums say.) For the kids it has Water Park full of water slides, wave pools and outdoor hot and cold swimming pools. YIPEE!!
That’s not it though there are many other activities to be done there such as 4 x 4 routes, power boat rides, rock climbing and abseiling. If that is not enough and you feel like going sight seeing there is the Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm, (largest in South Africa), historical graves, the Mokopa Reptile Park and many more. There is so much to do that you will have to come back to see it all!
The accommodation consists of safari lodges, chalets, campsites which all have electricity and much more.
