I was very young when I visited Knysna in the Garden Route, however the beauty of the area will never escape my mind! In fact I lost a tooth there. When most people think of South Africa they usually imagine it to be really dry and full of droughts with the lions roaming around. But they couldn't be more wrong. South Africa has a very diverse landscape and Knysna proves that with rich green colours everywhere!

In fact Knysna is known for its lagoon and sits on the coast. I spent a good few days there in a picturesque self-catering cottage. The reason why we were there was for my uncles wedding which was the day before my 7th birthday so I can remember losing my tooth that day at the ostrich farm in the nearby town of George. I still have the pictures. Hehe.

I would definitely like to go back and make some more memories of Knysna!!
