The West Coast National Park E-mail
Penguins at the west coast national park

The West Coast National Park is not quite the conventional safari park and is more for bird lovers and sea lovers. There are boat tours and the likely things you will see there are the Cape Gannet, Jackass Penguin, Flamingo’s, Waders and Black Harriers. Therefore it is a definite must for those interested in birds especially birds from a certain area. It is an unforgettable experience especially to watch those cheeky penguins frolicking in the sea.

The park is situated just inland from the secluded harbour of Saldanha Bay and is also known as the Langebaan Lagoon! It holds amazing choices of accommodation which include boat houses. Ahhh a bird lover’s haven!!
