An authentic African wedding experience at Plumari… E-mail

As weddings become more routine (same old same!), time becomes more precious and the cost of everything goes through the roof, couples are more and more analyzing their options as to where they should get married. South Africa is proving to be an extremely value- oriented option and gives the party the ability to showcase a day never to be forgotten. Within that general theme Plumari Africa has seen weddings (and particularly from abroad) grow into one of its fastest growing offerings. With a number of advantages including:

*The cost and value achieved of a wedding in SA compared with Europe.
*Similar time zones and easy overnight flight for guests and party.
*Plumari itself is only an hour from Joburg or Pretoria so traveling time is minimised.

A truly African experience with stay-overs recommended Wedding photographs will be astonishing with options and advantages such as:

*Taken in the best weather in the world with a backdrop of one of the oldest mountain ranges on earth.
*Historic theme (they have one of the largest private collections of ox wagons and carts in SA.)
*Bridal party with their elephants (which is proving to be a huge hit.)
*General wildlife backdrop.

Plumari is a pristine 3000Ha private game reserve set under the Magaliesberg mountain range and around an hour from Joburg and Pretoria and conveniently halfway en route to Sun City. With the Big five from July 2007 and an Elephant Experience available (meaning learn about, walk with, touch and feed) – a close up and personal with wildlife is guaranteed. A historic theme has been incorporated throughout the 4 star lodge and a history museum is available on site (including San bushman carvings). Currently 18 chalets and self catering also available. The wedding chapel (authentic 19th century design) can seat 140 pax or outdoor weddings can take up to 200. The Lapa or massive Gala Hall can be used for the reception, the latter opening up into an open air amphitheatre and continuing onto beautiful gardens. The bride can take a horse and cart to the chapel and chose from a stunning set of options for photographs – including the must do “bridal party with elephants”. Your special day should be just that, now there are no more excuses…
